Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of white peach, Golden Delicious apple and baked pear are complemented by notes of Meyer lemon, caramel and vanilla.

Palate: The palate is round and inviting, offering a supple texture balanced by fresh acidity. Layers of orchard fruit, citrus and gentle oak spice carry through to a smooth, lingering finish.

This elegant, terroir driven Chard is part of our Farmers’ Series, which celebrates the friendships we have with Redtail Vineyard, here in the County. The milkweed on the label art is very characteristic of the area and the vineyard manager, leaves the milkweed undisturbed when weeding the vineyard, to feed the Monarch Butterflies, migrating across the peninsula. The grapes were harvested from the Ridge and Big Bay Blocks. Our Winemaker Jonas Newman is also the vineyard manager at Redtail Vineyards.
